Power stations in Sri Lanka have run out of fuel. Currently, only coal is available, which means that this will lead to a further increase in the time of power outages.
Norochocholai Power Plant can provide electricity for only another 8-10 hours, some media write, while some stations will operate only on the available coal. Other than that, there is no other word for how the power plants will continue to function.
At this rate, the existing periods of power cuts will increase.
